The University of Victoria lost to both Trinity Western University and Simon Fraser University this weekend on the road in the lower mainland. Despite the losses, the Vikes took some positives from the weekend, including solid goaltending from Zach Wear who replaced Scott Legault in the 1st period of game 1 due to injury. The Vikes continue to grow and learn as a young team, as they continue to move through the season.
With the losses, the Vikes move to 4th in the BCIHL standings ahead of EWU, who are seven points back. The Vikes are back at this weekend as SFU comes to town. Face-offs for both Friday and Saturday are set for 7:30pm.
