Teddy Bear Toss Night

'Tis the season with the University of Victoria Vikes Hockey team as they are back at it again in the Ian Stewart Complex this Friday for their special event "Teddy Bear Toss." The Teddy Bear Toss is a special event that the Vikes men put on at Christmas time, asking the public to donate stuffed animals to families in the greater Victoria area. At the game you can bring your Teddy Bear or stuffed animal and donate it to the Vikes. The hockey team will then go out and deliver the stuffed animals to the families. The more donated the more spirit and joy we can share this Christmas season. Please be sure to properly wrap your teddy bear in order to prevent passing germs to the children. The Vikes hockey team thanks you in advance for all your donations.

It will be a game to remember as the Vikes take on the Eastern Washington University Eagles, taking to the home ice after having played in Kelowna against the Spartan's last weekend. Friday’s game is set to start at 7:30pm in the friendly confines of the University of Victoria's Ian Stewart Complex. Don't forget to bring your Teddy Bear's and the Vikes will see you this Friday, November 25th.

***Please make sure that all your Teddy Bear’s and stuffed animals are properly wrapped. Unwrapped stuffed animals will not be given to the children, due to health concerns.***
